Estudo comparativo da efetividade dos acaricidas no combate ao carrapato Boophilus microplus (Canestrini) (Acarina: Ixodidae) nas regi?es de Aruj? e Pindamonhangaba no Estado de S?o Paulo

Resumo: The larvae of the cattle tick, Boophilus microplus from two different regions of the State of S?o Paulo in Brazil, were tested for susceptibility to five acaricides (Malathion, Chlorfenvinphos, Coumaphos, Fenvalerate and Decamethrin) by enclosure of larvae in filter paper packet impregnated with oil solutions of acaricides (FAO Method - Food and Agriculture Organization Method). Larvae from Pindamonhangaba showed higher resistant than that from Aruj? with 40 to 70% of degree to organophosphorus, but, there was no difference between both regions to synthetic pyrethroids. The characterization of resistance of larvae from both regions was similer to Mackay type or Ridgelands type in Australia, which was higher resistant to Chlorfenvinphos and lower resistant to Coumaphos. The crude extructed proteins of eggs and larvae were analyzad by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) and SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). The main xviii protein of eggs (P2) on PAGE was identified as lipoglycoprotein and one of two main proteins of larvae (P5), was also identified as same as to the eggs. Other main protein of larvae (P6), however, was not identified as a lipo-glycoprotein. The main protein isolated by SDS-PAGE were suggested as to be P2 of eggs and P5 of larvae by reason to possitive reaction of PAS. The control of the cattle ticks by non-acaricide product systems was discussed by knowlege of biosynthesis of Vitellogenin and Vitellin.

Larvas provenientes de Pindamonhangaba mostraram-se mais resistentes que as de Aruj? com 40% a 70% de resist?ncia aos organofosforados, mas, n?o houve diferen?a entre ambas as regi?es aos piretr?ides sint?ticos. A caracteriza??o de resist?ncia das larvas de ambas as regi?es foi similar ao tipo Mackay ou tipo Ridgelands na Austr?lia, a qual teve maior resist?ncia ao Chlorfenvinfos e baixa resist?ncia ao Coumaphos. As estruturas brutas das prote?nas dos ovos e larvas foram analisadas por eletroforese em gel de poliacrilamida (PAGE) e por eletroforese em gel de poliacrilamida com dodecil sulfato de s?dio (SDS-PAGE). xvi A prote?na principal dos ovos (P2) na PAGE foi identificada como lipo-glicoprote?na e uma das principais prote?nas das larvas (P5), tamb?m foi identificada como a mesma dos ovos. Outra prote?na principal das larvas (P6), entretanto, n?o foi identificada como lipo-glicoprote?na. As principais prote?nas isoladas pelo SDS-PAGE, foram sugeridas como sendo (P2) dos ovos e (P5) das larvas devido ? rea??o positiva na colora??o de PAS. description The larvae of the cattle tick, Boophilus microplus from two different regions of the State of S?o Paulo in Brazil, were tested for susceptibility to five acaricides (Malathion, Chlorfenvinphos, Coumaphos, Fenvalerate and Decamethrin) by enclosure of larvae in filter paper packet impregnated with oil solutions of acaricides (FAO Method - Food and Agriculture Organization Method). Larvae from Pindamonhangaba showed higher resistant than that from Aruj? with 40 to 70% of degree to organophosphorus, but, there was no difference between both regions to synthetic pyrethroids. The characterization of resistance of larvae from both regions was similer to Mackay type or Ridgelands type in Australia, which was higher resistant to Chlorfenvinphos and lower resistant to Coumaphos. The crude extructed proteins of eggs and larvae were analyzad by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) and SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). The main xviii protein of eggs (P2) on PAGE was identified as lipoglycoprotein and one of two main proteins of larvae (P5), was also identified as same as to the eggs. Other main protein of larvae (P6), however, was not identified as a lipo-glycoprotein. The main protein isolated by SDS-PAGE were suggested as to be P2 of eggs and P5 of larvae by reason to possitive reaction of PAS. The control of the cattle ticks by non-acaricide product systems was discussed by knowlege of biosynthesis of Vitellogenin and Vitellin.
