Parque de vaquejada na cidade de Itabaiana-SE: como projetar um espaço adequado para a prática do esporte?

This work has as its theme, the vaquejada, and brings with it as general objective, the elaboration and proposition of a draft of a vaquejada park in the city of Itabaiana-SE. Given the lack of studies regarding this subject in the academic environment and because it is an other attribution that the Architect and Urbanist has been losing space for other professionals, it is proven that this topic is important to be discussed. The fact that the author is directly involved with the sport, as a competitor and in the breeding of horses, facilitates the understanding of the existing problem and the hypothesis is raised: HOW TO DESIGN A SPACE SUITABLE FOR THE PRACTICE OF SPORTS? Initially, the author made possible the importance of historical, cultural, legislative and legal grounds. Not enough, the founder of this project also went to the field, for face-to-face explorations and interviews with professionals engaged in sports practice, thus, identified several structural, design and lack of participation of architects in the projects of state cow parks, in which of major importance. Having defined the area to be implanted the project and elaborated a detailed needs program, it was possible through a study of sectorization, flows, organization charts and pre-dimensioning, to conclude this work with a design proposal that provides comfort and well-being to the animals involved in the competitors, professionals, employees, investors and spectators, benefiting the collective, generating more development and publicity for the city and encouraging other park owners to modernize and follow the evolution of the sport.
