Objectives: to describe retrospectively the cases treated in Aracaju - Sergipe from January 1 to November 20, 2017 at the Pediatric Oncology Service of Sergipe Emergency Hospital, aiming at drawing the population and establishing the factors that influenced the morbidity of these patients. Methodology: Secondary analysis of medical records of patients seen at the Pediatric Oncology Service of the Emergency Hospital of Sergipe from January 1 to November 20, 2017. Inclusion criteria were: confirmed diagnosis of GCT. Results: five patients with ages varying from 5 to 16 years were studied, being the age of diagnosis between 1 and 15 years of age. Three were free of disease at the end of the study period and 2 did not obtain surgical completeness, remaining under treatment. Discussion: the varied casuistry found in the sample reflects data from the literature, as well as the relation between the completeness of the surgery and the good prognosis. Hospital admissions were related to the chemotherapy treatment and its complications. Conclusions: The treatment of GCS remains surgical, despite great technical advances in recent years, and the impossibility of satisfactory surgical resection was related to higher morbidity in this sample.
