O ambiente ergonômico na produtividade dos secretários : um estudo de caso em uma empresa de saneamento da região Nordeste

This study aims to analyze ergonomics in the development of secretarial activities of a sanitation company in the Northeast Region, seeking to answer if the ergonomic environment is a factor for the productivity of workers in that function. The research is characterized as a case study, using as a data collect instrument a questionnaire, applied to twenty-three professionals of the organization who act in secretarial functions. It was also considered the participant observation in the environment investigated. The data obtained indicated that although most interviewees are aware of the diseases and wounds caused by work activities, care for an ergonomic environment is not yet applied in their routines. As evidence of this scenario, it is verified that 89.10% of the interviewees have the incidence of pain, which may be initial symptoms of occupational diseases. The reflexes of the organizational and psychosocial factors considered in the ergonomic environment were pointed out by 60.89% of respondents, who stated that pressure / stress affects their productivity. This was also a reason indicated by 47.43% of respondents for rework in their activities, reaching the quality of production in services. Considering the survey of the public investigated, the analysis of environmental conditions, as well as the theoretical and normative principles of ergonomics, it is concluded that the ergonomic environment is a factor for the productivity of the secretaries of the investigated company, impacting the performance and quality of services.
