Summary: Every individual has a series of rights inherent to the human condition, including the right to privacy. Since it is a protection to the conditions of the agent's private life, it seeks to guarantee to the individual the possibility that certain information is not unduly exposed, in order to cause them any embarrassment. Within this theme, privacy is highlighted in the clinical-hospital relationship, in which, in addition to the law, there is a duty in professional secrecy to preserve such information perceived by reason of the profession. Thus, the case of Dona Marisa Letícia was highlighted, which reverberated in all Brazilian national media. This is due to the leak of information made by a professional from Hospital Sírio Libanês. This fact demonstrated, once again, the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of information in the clinical-hospital relationship.

Dentro dessa temática, a privacidade encontra na relação clínico hospitalar especial realce, no qual para além do direito, existe no sigilo profissional o dever de preservação de tais informações percebidas em razão da profissão. Assim, ganhou destaque o caso de Dona Marisa Letícia que repercutiu em todas as mídias nacionais brasileiras. Isso em razão do vazamento de informações feitas por um profissional do Hospital Sírio Libanês.
