Logical reasoning at school: a psychopedagogical assessment graders of Elementary School

Resumo: This text presents an evaluation carried out within the scope of the extension project developed in municipal and state schools in a city in the northwest of Paraná. The project was composed of students with low academic performance in subjects that involve logical reasoning, notably Mathematics; an intervention was carried out with them using educational Robotics kits. Based on the assumption of the importance of understanding the organization for the task and the mental operations involved, two assessments were carried out, one before and the other after the intervention, with 15 students from the 4th and 5th grades of Elementary School, which were guided by the following thematic units: logical-mathematical thinking; quantitative numerical logical reasoning; logical mathematical reasoning in arguments; propositional logic; analytical logical reasoning and mode of operation during the assessment. The results achieved confirm the effectiveness of the work realized in order to contribute to the organization of thought and actions for school activities.

El proyecto estaba compuesto por estudiantes con un bajo rendimiento académico en disciplinas que involucran razonamiento lógico, especialmente en matemáticas. Con ellos se efectuó una intervención utilizando kits educativos de robótica. Sobre la base de la suposición de la importancia de entender la organización para la tarea y las operaciones mentales, se llevaron a cabo, con 15 estudiantes del 4º.  y 4º. año de la escuela primaria, una evaluación inicial y final para la intervención, que se han guiado por las siguientes unidades temáticas: pensamiento lógico-matemático; razonamiento cuantitativo lógico numérico; Razonamiento lógico matemático en argumentos; Lógica proposicional; Razonamiento analítico lógico y modo de operación durante la evaluación. Los resultados logrados confirman la efectividad del trabajo para contribuir a la organización del pensamiento y acciones para actividades escolares.O presente texto apresenta uma avaliação realizada no âmbito de um projeto de extensão desenvolvido em escolas das redes municipal e estadual de uma cidade do noroeste do Paraná. O projeto foi composto por alunos com baixo desempenho acadêmico em disciplinas que envolvem raciocínio lógico, notadamente em Matemática; com eles foi realizada uma intervenção utilizando kits educacionais de robótica. Com base no pressuposto da importância de compreender a organização para a tarefa e as operações mentais foram realizadas, com 15 alunos do 4º. e 5º. ano do Ensino Fundamental, uma avaliação inicial e final à intervenção, as quais se nortearam pelas seguintes unidades temáticas: pensamento lógico-matemático; raciocínio lógico numérico quantitativo; raciocínio lógico matemático em argumentos; lógica proposicional; raciocínio lógico analítico e modo de operar durante a avaliação.
