Resumo: Studies on the professional trajectory and training of teachers are important for reflection on teacher training and professional development. The objective of this study is to unveil the relevant plots for the training of teachers in Physical Education and to interpret the initial trajectory of teacher training. This study is characterised as a qualitative approach, where the narratives of a Physical Education teacher were collected through the interview technique, from which an analysis was carried out that dialogued with the thinking of other authors. The results indicate that knowing the life story of a teacher, focussing on the constitution of their initial training, gives us the possibilities to understand that such training is part of a historical process.

El objetivo de este estudio es develar la trama relevante a la formación de profesores de Educación Física e interpretar la trayectoria inicial de la formación docente. Este estudio se caracteriza por ser de enfoque cualitativo, donde se recogieron las narrativas de un profesor de Educación Física a través de la técnica de la entrevista, a partir de la cual se realizó un análisis que dialogó con el pensamiento de otros autores. Los resultados indican que conocer la historia de vida de un docente, centrándose en la constitución de su formación inicial, nos brinda posibilidades de comprender que tal formación es parte de un proceso histórico.Os estudos acerca da trajetória profissional e formação de professores têm se mostrado importantes para a reflexão referente à formação docente e desenvolvimento profissional. Com isso, objetiva-se desvelar os enredos pertinentes a formação de professores em Educação Física e interpretar a trajetória inicial de formação docente. Esse estudo se caracteriza como uma abordagem qualitativa, onde as narrativas de um professor de Educação Física foram coletadas mediante a técnica da entrevista, da qual foi realizada uma análise que dialogasse com o pensamento de outros autores.
