Digital technologies in the context of continuing education for university professors

Resumo: This essay articulates contemporary issues about the continued formation of university professors using digital technologies. According to the literature, it's essential that reflections conjecture the complex context of diversity and unpredictability, which causes challenges that are sometimes insurmountable both to training and to pedagogical practice. In this scenario, we question the meanings of digital technologies in teacher education. The objective is to analyze, using Bakntin lens, the narratives produced in recent years about digital technologies in the context of the continuing education of university professors. It is a theoretical discussion that seeks to answer the proposed question using the bibliographic research method. The results indicate that both teacher education and digital technologies are built through hybrid statements, whose constructions are composed by fusion of different ideas, perceptions and categorizations, always susceptible to new narratives.

Esto representa un esfuerzo hercúleo por dos razones principales, la primera, consideramos la diversidad e imprevisibilidad del contexto actual, la segunda porque es un locus que ha sido poco refinado por los investigadores, particularmente en el área de la historia de la educación más alta. Desde la perspectiva de Bakhtin, el objetivo de este estudio es analizar los significados producidos en los últimos años por las tecnologías digitales en el contexto de la formación continua de profesores universitarios. Es un análisis cualitativo de tipo teórico que busca, en el método de investigación bibliográfica, una respuesta a la pregunta: ¿cuál es el significado de las tecnologías digitales en la formación continua de los profesores universitarios? Los resultados indican que tanto la formación docente como las tecnologías digitales se construyen a través de enunciados híbridos, cuyas construcciones se componen de la fusión de diferentes ideas, percepciones y categorizaciones, siempre sujetas a nuevas narrativas.Este ensaio teórico analisa questões que consideramos relevantes para a formação continuada do docente universitário. É um esforço relevante por duas razões principais: pela diversidade e imprevisibilidade do contexto atual; e por ser um lócus pouco estudado pela academia, particularmente da área da história da educação superior. O objetivo deste estudo é analisar, sob a ótica de Bakhtin, os sentidos produzidos nos últimos anos pelas tecnologias digitais no contexto da formação continuada do docente universitário. É uma discussão teórica que busca no método pesquisa bibliográfica resposta para a questão: qual o sentido das tecnologias digitais na formação continuada do docente universitário?
