Summary: This paper sets itself as a theoretical speculation around some of the possible connections of the 70s’ Argentinian Post-Avant-garde with the traditions of the Brazilian Anthropophagy and the Novo Hispanic Baroque. From the identification of certain theoretical affinities (between concepts such as ”transculturación” (Rama), “antropofagia” (Andrade), “secuestro del barroco” (De Campos), the essay tries an eccentric reading of Literal magazine (Buenos Aires, 1973-1977) outside French telquelism and the Argentinian tradition. From this point, it is attempted to think of the Baroque and the Anthropophagy as another possible trigger that helps to understand other dimensions of the Latin American art Avant-gardes in general, and of the River Plate in particular.

A partir de la identificación de posibles “afinidades teóricas” (entre nociones como “transculturación” (Rama), “antropofagia” (Andrade), “secuestro del barroco” (De Campos)), el ensayo procura servir de base para una lectura de la excéntrica revista Literal (Buenos Aires, 1973-1977) por fuera del telquelismo francés y de la tradición literaria argentina.
