Resumo: Aims: To evaluate the indoor air quality of the Clinical School of Physiotherapy of a University in São Luís/Ma. Method: A cross-sectional, observational and analytical study carried out with clinic occupants aged between 18 and 75 years, sociodemographic data were collected through a questionnaire and to analyze the quality of the indoor environment, the parameters temperature, relative air humidity and microbiota were collected. evaluated in two periods. Results: Regarding the symptoms reported, the student group showed statistically significant differences in the variables headache, nasal congestion and rhinosinusitis. Cold-type discomfort was reported as the highest (24.49%) among students compared to professors and patients. The temperature and relative humidity parameters, as well as the biological ones (bacteria and fungi) showed values in accordance with current legislation, with the MH medium having the highest amount of microorganisms, selective for bacteria with 24 CFU/m³ in the first collection and 55 CFU/m³ in the second collection. Conclusion: The researched environment does not fit as a sick building, however, because it is a therapeutic and teaching environment, the amounts of microorganisms found are not acceptable because they can cause important harm to the health of the occupants.
