Resumo: Although the composite steel-concrete columns already have their design guidelines standardized (NBR: 8800/2008), there is still a lack of a quick way for their pre-dimensioning. The objective of this paper is to prepare a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel® that is capable of dimensioning sections of composite steel-concrete columns using commercially available steel profiles. Subsequently, as a result of these iterations, printed tables will be generated with pre-defined sections, so that they serve as pre-dimensioning tables for structural projects. Comparisons of this constructive method with others, will also be made throughout the work.

O presente trabalho traz como objetivo, a elaboração de uma planilha eletrônica em Microsoft Excel® que seja capaz de dimensionar seções de pilares mistos de aço-concreto, utilizando opções de perfis metálicos disponíveis comercialmente. Posteriormente, como resultado destas iterações, serão geradas tabelas impressas com seções pré-definidas, de modo que sirvam como tabelas de pré-dimensionamento para projetos estruturais.
