Resumo: The famous postcard of the great Florianopolis, symbol of the state of Santa Catarina, the historical, architectural and artistic heritage of IPHAN, the Hercílio Luz Bridge, which is the only bridge in the world with such characteristics, built between 1922 and 1926, its 91 years has undergone various interventions and traffic interdictions, is finally being rehabilitated and restored. The present work refers to the methods used for rehabilitation and restoration of the Bridge, in order to bring it back to work again. These methods are new in Brazil, for example, the transfer of cargo, which is a very complex system due to the state that the bridge is made through the lifting of the central span, but the method, studied and analyzed, is simpler for the reform of the Bridge.

O presente trabalho apresenta aos métodos utilizados para reabilitação e restauração da Ponte, no intuito de trazê-la a funcionamento novamente.
