Discalculia: superação das dificuldades de ensino e de aprendizagem

Faced with the various learning difficulties found in the classroom, especially in mathematics, the inability to develop calculations began to be studied, mainly to avoid the labeling of children who could present some disorder, both in the questions of calculations and interpretations of mathematical statements. In this way, the present study approaches the learning disorder in mathematics called dyscalculia, presenting concepts, definitions, and the investigation of possible ways of overcoming in discalculic children. The work consists of a bibliographical research based on authors such as: Palácios (1996); Falcão (2003); Cool (1996); Morais (1997); Brito (2001); Boyer (1996); Pozo (1998); Duarte (1987); Dante (2005) and others. Thus, the pretension is to expand the studies about dyscalculia, taking the theme into the school not as a matter of time, but as a permanent discussion, contemplating the various dimensions of the student's life, since the learning difficulties are not only caused by a factor.
