Comparação da aplicação das certificações AQUA-HQE e LEED em edifício residencial na cidade de Tubarão/SC

Resumo: With the increasing use of nature resources and environment degradation, especially related to the construction sector, in search for alternatives to reduce and minimize the damage to the environment. With the emergence of sustainable constructions, was created tools to evaluate the performance of sustainability, by certification by accreditation bodies. Among the certifications of sustainable constructions companies, stands-out the certifications with international recognition AQUA-HQE and LEED. The present study evaluates data referent to a sustainable performance certificate through the application of their requirements on a residential building in the final of the construction on Tubarão – SC. Intended with the results of this study to identify the not met requirements in each one of the certifications and from then to propose alternatives that became possible the certification. And, through this to make analysis about the found difficulties on the application of this certification methodology. This analysis was made with the intention to facilitate the sustainable application by construction companies and others, to then adopt a new way to plan and build aiming sustainable. Though the application of the certification requirements, noted that the changes required to increase the performance sustainable of the building is about, mainly, improvements and adequacy of the systems and structure already planned to the edification. Therefore, it is concluding that adoption of small initiatives of changes does all the difference and make the edification more sustainable. Comparing the results, it is noted that the evaluated edification attends to more requests from LEED certification, because it make an global evaluation and has more general requests and has not the obligation of attendance of all the evaluate dimensions, what made possible the indication of improvements which if realized on the edification would allow it’s certification. As the AQUA-HQE certification has requests facing the Brazil’s reality that is required and eliminatory. So, the studied edification was not framed on the requests to AQUA-HQE, requests that must be adopted since the planning step of the edification. This is due to the fact of this certification demands the accomplish of all evaluated categories on a more judicious way.

This is due to the fact of this certification demands the accomplish of all evaluated categories on a more judicious way.Com o crescente uso dos recursos naturais e degradação do meio ambiente, especialmente relacionado ao setor da construção civil, busca-se alternativas que reduzam e minimizem os danos ao meio ambiente. Com o surgimento das construções sustentáveis, foram criadas ferramentas de avaliação de desempenho de sustentabilidade, por meio de certificação de empresas acreditadoras. Dentre as certificações de empreendimentos da construção sustentável, destaca-se as certificações de reconhecimento internacional AQUA-HQE e LEED. O presente estudo avaliou dados referentes ao desempenho sustentável atestado por estas certificações através da aplicação de seus requisitos em uma edificação residencial em fase final de construção na cidade de Tubarão – SC. Pretendeu-se com os resultados deste estudo identificar os requisitos não atendidos em cada uma das certificações e a partir deles propor alternativas que tornassem possível a certificação. E, através disto, fazer análises sobre as dificuldades encontradas na aplicação da metodologia destas certificações. Estas análises foram realizadas com o intuito de facilitar a aplicação da sustentabilidade por parte de empresas e construtoras, para que adotem uma nova forma de planejar e construir visando a sustentabilidade. Através da aplicação dos requisitos das certificações, observou-se que as mudanças necessárias para aumentar o desempenho sustentável da edificação se tratam, principalmente, de melhorias e adequações das estruturas e sistemas já planejados para a edificação. Sendo assim, concluiu-se que a adoção de pequenas iniciativas de mudança faz toda a diferença e torna a edificação mais sustentável. Comparando os resultados percebeu-se que a edificação avaliada, atendeu a mais requisitos da certificação LEED, isto porque ela faz uma avaliação global e, portanto, tem requisitos mais gerais e não tem a obrigatoriedade de atendimento a todas as dimensões avaliadas, o que tornou possível a indicação de melhorias que se realizadas na edificação permitiriam sua certificação. Já a certificação AQUA-HQE tem requisitos voltados a realidade brasileira que também são obrigatórios e eliminatórios. Assim, a edificação estudada não se enquadrou nos requisitos da certificação AQUA-HQE, requisitos estes, que deveriam ter sido adotados desde a fase de planejamento da edificação.
