OBJECTIVE: To analyze the possibility of applying the feminicide qualifier in cases involving transsexual women. METHOD: In this way, the exploratory was used, as it was presented the doctrinal and jurisprudential positioning involving female transsexuals. Thus, the approach of this research is qualitative, since it was sought to analyze the content of the judicial decisions to bring arguments of authority. As for the procedure used to collect the research data, it is classified as a bibliographical and documentary research, in view of the jurisprudential and doctrinal analysis of the proposed theme. RESULTS: This study had as a result a deepening in the origin of the subjugation of women and the importance of feminism for this genrestating that sex and gender are diferente. Therefore, through the judgments and doctrinal understandings, it was sought to analyze whether there is a possibility of the feminicide qualifier introduced by Law 13.104, dated March 9, 2015, and thus to verify whether female transsexuals can be victims of thelaw. CONCLUSION: It is possible that female transsexuals are victims of femicide.
