This paper aims to show, through an analysis of actual implementation, the financial advantages of a VoIP solution. The study was required because of the absence of such information in the corporate market. With this goal, there was a case study in a business area of technology that it obtained concrete results in the deployment of the solution. By analyzing the calls made over a period of 2 months could prove significant cost reduction in telephony. The database used to assess approximately 33 million records of connections. With this data base were raised the cost of VoIP calls over the network and performed the simulations of those links leaving the TDM link. The simulations were made possible through direct changes in the data base released by the company. The reduction in cost for DDD calls via VoIP in the period examined is 80%, and the links between company group is 100%. The company had a return of investment in its parent and all subsidiaries in a period of 30 months. (Resumo não tem no Pergamun).
