Resumo: Currently, there has been an increase in the demand for alternative methods in civil construction in the domestic market, with the need to shorten the execution time of a work, reduce costs and increase production efficiency. Given this fact, this study aims to make a comparison between two methods of internal vertical fences: the execution of conventional masonry, which is normally used; and the Drywall dry construction system. Thus, an analysis of their employment characteristics, planning, budget and peculiarities will be presented, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages. For data collection, norms, technical articles, price references and internet pages were used as a research source, which will be cited during the study. As a final consideration, the Drywall method stands out related to conventional masonry, due to the speed of execution, cost of material and labor, ease in meeting the standards and minimum residue. It is worth remembering that before deciding on a method, it is necessary to plan and certify that the method is compatible with the construction in question.

Diante deste fato, este estudo visa fazer uma comparação entre dois métodos de vedações verticais internos: a execução de alvenaria convencional, que é normalmente utilizado; e o sistema de construção a seco Drywall. Dessa forma, será apresentado uma análise de suas características de emprego, planejamento, orçamento e peculiaridades, evidenciando suas vantagens e desvantagens. Para coleta de dados foi utilizado como fonte de pesquisa normas, artigos técnicos, referenciais de preço e páginas da internet, que serão citadas no decorrer do estudo. Como consideração final, o método Drywall se sobressai relacionado a alvenaria convencional, por conta da rapidez de execução, custo de material e mão de obra, facilidade no atendimento as normativas e mínimo resíduo.
