The theme proposed in this final monography, completed in the city of Florianópolis, at the University of Southern Santa Catarina, seeks to understand the spaces and the desires that are manifested in them by the people who inhabit them. This stage covers the Architectural Design Party, Urban Planning area, stage TCC1 and, as a research method for the understanding of the neighborhood, its multiplicity was studied through several fields of knowledge with the use of a Workshop conducted by LABCHIS UFSC (2014). It involved the knowledge of authors from various areas of study. In this project, the authors’ interest in the theme has been expanded. This work promotes the debate, the dialogue, and the connection of people within the city, seeking to look at the urban space with the CHIS concept, where the Cities are more Humane Intelligent and Sustainable. The planning discussed, proposed in the course of the research, results in the living, active and human city, because in it are the "wills" of its citizens. The interest in Lagoa da Conceição and the concern for its future was the origin of this study, as well as the question of empowering the cities for the people. The clipping of the central border of the Lagoon, the territory of the project, is part of the TCC stage 1 the Architectural parti and for the TCC 2, the Preliminary Study stage will be elaborated.
