Reinforced concrete is the most commonly construction method currently used in Brazil, as it is more tolerant on errors, has an elevated compression resistance, low maintenance cost, and is an alternative for those who desire an endurable structure, stable and resistant when compared to other constructive systems. However, this technic allows the risen of Pathologic Manifestations, originated from facts such as: Unsatisfactory quality control, wrongly dimensioned structures, project’s execution fail and so. Even there is a great deal of technology in the Civil Construction area, these problems are evident in many buildings, including those of short lifecycle. The frequently detection of this adversity compromises the performance, the stability and functionality of the structure, generating unnecessary cost of repair that could be avoided. As that said, the present work comes to investigate the incidence of Pathologic Manifestation in buildings located in the city of Braço do Norte/SC, in order to detect and present suitable solutions for the founded problems. The conception of the study was based on the method of visual inspection, data collect during technical visits to the location, library research, photographic register and interviewing the users of the buildings. By analyzing, it was found out that the moisture stains, cracks, coating displacement were the most present manifestations at all locations. After all, it was detected the possible causes, the source of the problem and its respective mechanism of occurrence in each building, and repairs ware proposed in order to cease the anomalies, so the structures would have longer lifecycle.
