The present monograph, aims to analyze the actuation of the International Criminal Court against the training of children’s o act as a soldiers in armed conflicts. Once the use of child as a soldier has been gaining prominence towards the international community. In that way the aim was to identify the history of creation of the International Criminal Court, showing the courts that served as inspiration and basis for its construction; the monograph also presents a review of historical process of the Colombian conflict, the concept of child soldiers and how then are utilize in Colombian, and finally analyze how the Court is acting in this case. For the construction of the research that is of basic character the descriptive method is used, in reference of the approach of the problem the chosen method was the qualitative one, and in reference of the procedures of the study the work has the character of Bibliographic, Documentary and Case study. Finally, was concluded that, the creation of the International Criminal Court has brought great advances in international law and in the international protection of human rights, mainly because of the complementarity that it offers to national courts, though on the assumption that the Statute itself Rome possesses, to carry out the judgment of effective way is faced with some problems, which can take the judgment to extend.
