This monograph aims to know and understand the impact caused by flight safety through the use of prevention reports in criminal investigations. This issue is important because misuse of information may compromise the aeronautical accident and incident prevention , resulting in flight safety flaws. Understanding criminal investigation and preventive investigation is the crucial point for reports to be cultivated and motivated. The applied methodology was qualitative, being analyzed the data and information available in the electronic portal of CENIPA and based on the Aeronautical Crimes book, by Marcelo Honorato. The research was characterized as exploratory with bibliographic and documentary procedure. At the end of this research, it was concluded that the lack of correct treatment of accident prevention information and the lack of knowledge and understanding on this subject for the aviation sector may result in accelerated exhaustion of voluntary participation, reports related to and the reduction of sources that contribute to the effectiveness of research, thereby compromising flight safety.
