This paper approaches the proposal to install a Urban Station in the district of Biguaçu, Santa Catarina, with the premise of reactivating the área in which in will be inserted through new urban connections, be they in macro or micro scale integration of various means of transportation leisure areas and services. To reach this proposal first were raised the justifications and problems that led to the choice of the theme after a brief study of the city scales the city and the automobile the contemporary cities and their alternatives for requalification. The analysis of architectural plans of concretized intermodal stations with guidelines similar to those of the Urban Station to be installed serving as base for the elaboration of activities and needs to be inserted. A diagnosis was made of the selected area identifying the occupation of the city the relation with the automobile and with the coletive transport the terrain and its surroundings and the legal aspects. The above mentioned aspects helped to define the macro and micro guidelines of the proposal initiating the architectural general. This aims at the construction of a building walkaway and public space that qualifies the place where it will be inserted through the permeability connections and intermodal integration serving as a passage and union of diferente types of transport and scales to be covered. Beyond the insertion of services and commerces to estimulate the flow and the local permanence and then change the cities for people valuing the different means of transport in order to change the history of dependence on automobiles.
