Resumo: This term paper work features a study on the movie Star Wars: A Rogue One Story, releasing on December 15, 2016, distributed by Disney company. The caracters of the movie and their personality are analyzed acoording with the theory of typology by Jung, whose objective is to understand if the types of personalities present in the personages affected the main mission indicated by film. In addition, the characters are categorized according to their extroverted and introverted functions. For this, it is necessary the content analysis, wich comes from the study of the materials collected and observed before the basic theory for the solution of the proposed problem, adhering as a qualitative descriptive method of research. The research is included in the research line of the Curso de Comunicação Social Unisul, covering the following theme: culture, language and digital technologies. It explore pop culture and cinematic technology, in addution to verbal and noverbal languages expressed by the psychological characteristics of the characters studied.In the course of the research, the characters presented characteristics that are in agreement with the Jungian theory, take to results equivalent to the initial expectation of the researcher.

As personagens são categorizadas de acordo com suas funções extrovertidas e introvertidas. Para isto, é necessário a análise de conteúdo, que provém do estudo dos materiais coletados e observados diante a teoria de base para a solução do problema proposto, aderindo como método de pesquisa o qualitativo descritivo. A pesquisa está incluída na linha de pesquisa do Curso de Comunicação Social da Unisul, contemplando o seguinte tema: Cultura, linguagem e tecnologias digitais. Ela explora a cultura pop e a tecnologia cinemática, além das linguagens verbais e não verbais expressadas pelas características psicológicas das personagens estudadas.
