The purpose of this paper is "Alternative means of solving the conflict: conciliation, mediation and the family constellation", aiming to demonstrate the importance of these self-composed methods to solve conflicts, always giving priority to the best interest of the parties, towards a more peaceful, harmonic justice and just for all. Justice has been failing much in its peacekeeping mission, the judge in analyzing the case applies directly to the law, but it can not analyze the sentiment of the parties and many who resort to the judiciary are not satisfied with the sentence proclaimed. However, with the application of alternative methods, the parties can reach a peaceful agreement. For this purpose, we will analyze in this work through a bibliographical research, doctrines, legislation, resolution nº 125/10 and also the new Code of Civil Procedure, always seeking to encourage self-composition in the judicial sphere. We will highlight the historical evolution of the conflicts and how they were resolved, we will address the crisis in the judiciary, due to great demands to be decided and also the procedure of the new civil process code in conciliation and mediation hearings. However alternative means are great options for resolving conflicts quickly, economically, fairly, and peacefully for all through conciliation, mediation and family constellation.
