Public spaces have always been part of society and the process of civilization of humanity. The human being, in the course of its existence, undergoes several transformations, and the means that appropriate space is a process of evolution, by which individuals express their wishes, their desires and share with others their personal and collective moments. It is through these spaces that cultural and functional processes occur, and also contribute to environmental qualification. The presence of quality urban spaces is what binds us to the other, through manifestations in groups, collective shelter, shared spaces for fun and others, and architecture and urbanism have the function of qualifying these places. Considering that the establishment of an urban thermal park in the city of Gravatal, aims to offer a space of leisure to the residents and tourists, valuing the landscape and the natural elements, mainly in the element in which it strengthens the name of the city, the water thermal, which today does not have a social exploration, knowing its great potential and being able to contribute positively in the lives of many people, the ideal is precisely to return what was taken. It is aimed at the key concepts addressed during the presentation of this work are, public spaces and social thermalism. To proceed is based on these items were analyzed bibliographical references and project references and a case study. Therefore, a diagnosis of the city and the place of insertion is presented, through the analysis of the Morphological Dimensions of the Urban Space, the use of the mental maps technique, based on Kevin Lynch, and the technique of analysis of the serial visions of space, elaborated by Gordon Cullen, aiming to know the potentialities, deficiencies and constraints that served as basis for the elaboration of the project guidelines, which allows to conclude that they are the result of this work and that base the development of the Work of Conclusion of Course II.
