Resumo: Through the years, it is possible to notice that the technological advance becomes more influential in the organizations. Such advancement helps the services provided by companies to be more efficient in their execution, guaranteeing a competitive quality in the labor market. However, to achieve this quality, must be taken into account the fact of how the services of the company are being carried out. In this concept, one of the solutions for verification and possible improvement for the provision of these services, is the management of processes through the BPM approach. Currently, Business Process Management is still a novelty for some Brazilian organizations, however it is increasingly being studied to be able to be correctly applied bringing greater value to the services provided by these companies. The present work presents a case study using the BPM concepts in a credit cooperative present in the entire state of Santa Catarina and aims to demonstrate the gains obtained through the use of this concept in order to improve processes.

Tal avanço tem auxiliado nos serviços prestados pelas empresas a terem maior eficácia e eficiência em sua execução, garantindo uma qualidade competitiva no mercado de trabalho. No entanto, para atingir esta qualidade deve ser levado em consideração o fato de como estão sendo realizados os serviços da empresa. Neste conceito, uma das soluções para verificação e possível melhoria da prestação destes serviços, é a gestão de processos através da abordagem BPM. Atualmente, o Business Process Management ainda é uma novidade para algumas organizações brasileiras, entretanto está cada vez mais sendo estudado para ser poder ser corretamente aplicado trazendo maior valor aos serviços prestados por estas empresas.
