Resumo: In the last few decades, the number of non-governmental organizations dedicated to animal-assisted interventions has been multiplying. Thus, the work is justified by the growing search and research within the area of ​​Assisted Therapy for Animals, with the aim of improving the quality of life of patients in various areas of health. The proposal for this space is a dynamic place, where in addition to training, it can be used for sessions with patients, according to the areas in which the dogs work. Analyzing the basic needs of dogs, training and the needs of therapeutic sessions, such as resting space for dogs after long sessions, the proposed space will comprise rooms, according to the area of ​​activity of the dogs, arranged with all the necessary material for training and patient sessions. In addition to training spaces with different obstacles, sounds and textures, accustoming the dog to different situations and distractions that may pass.

Assim, o trabalho justifica-se pela crescente busca e pesquisas dentro da área de Terapia Assistida de Animais, com o objetivo de melhorar a qualidade de vida de pacientes em diversas áreas da saúde. A proposta para esse espaço é um local dinâmico, onde além de treinamento, possa ser utilizado para sessões com pacientes, de acordo com as áreas de atuação dos cães. Analisando as necessidades básicas dos cães, de adestramento e as necessidades de sessões terapêuticas, como espaço de descanso para cães após longas sessões, o espaço proposto vai compreender salas, de acordo com a área de atuação dos cães, dispostas de todo material necessário para treinamento e sessões com pacientes.
