This work was based on wood frame method of construction, having as principle the industrialization of the method of manufacture of wooden residences. According to the Notisul newspaper, Santa Catarina has a strong growth potential for wooden residences, soon it is clear that the modular panels method is a promising product for the region in relation to other methods. Since the industrialization of the process is possible and the necessary materials are widely available in the region. For this purpose, a research was carried out in this work with logging companies from the AMUREL region, in order to ascertain what is requested by customers, so an architectural project was developed that fit this. Based on this project, a proposal was made for modular panels that could industrialize the construction process of wooden residences, with the objective of proposing a modern residence that will bring comfort and coziness to residents. In order to verify the economic viability, a complete comparative budget was carried out between this method and the traditional wooden construction process, which showed a great difference in the values mainly of the roof and structure, making the first method more expensive. Another comparison was made with the total values of these two budgets together with the total value of a residence of the same standards in traditional masonry, and for the latter, the values of CUB were used. With this it can be seen that the modular panels are actually more expensive than the wooden house, however they have a lower cost when compared to the masonry residence. In addition, modular plates have been shown to be better than other methods when it comes to execution, since they enable faster and cleaner construction since they make use of the industrialization of the process. Besides that, the modular panels construction system has great growth capacity in the AMUREL region, with the industrialized method being little used in civil construction companies.
