This job presents an research about the academic student life style, in order to understand his routine and needs, guaranteeing means to elaborate an excellent student accommodation project The Project is situated in Pantanal neighborhood, next to the Center region of Florianópolis and it also counts with the presensce of the Universidade Federal de Santa-Catarina (UFSC). The standard residencial model in the area is build based on reforming and adapting houses or apartments tha already existis, fact that can bring problems in the students day-by-day. The Project proposal is to create an student house that does not only function as a place to stay, but also as a support in the academic life. The final result was an Project that counts with diferent floors, diferent uses, spaces, and apartments, creating a building with such form that takes maximum advantege of natural light and ventilation. The building also count with a great external area faced to the street for free apropriation of the population and the students.
