Resumo: In every building, fire protection is required for the protection and safety of human lives and property. For the adequacy of any undertaking in the State of Santa Catarina, approval by the Santa Catarina Fire Department (CBMSC) is required, which establishes guidelines and regulations for the preparation of a Fire Preventive Project (PPCI). This work aims to analyze and deepen all the norms imposed by the CBMSC, as well as, to study the proper way to apply each system and fire safety measure. The methodology applied for this purpose is made with the case study of a mixed building, located in the city of São José / SC. It is concluded that the technical standards and required by the CBMSC were met, determining the approval of the PPCI.

Para adequação de todo empreendimento no Estado de Santa Catarina, é necessário a aprovação junto ao Corpo de Bombeiros de Santa Catarina (CBMSC), que, estabelece diretrizes e normativas para elaboração de um Projeto Preventivo Contra Incêndio (PPCI). Este trabalho objetiva analisar e aprofundar todas as normativas impostas pelo CBMSC, bem como, estudar a forma adequada de aplicar cada sistema e medida de segurança contra incêndio. A metodologia aplicada para tal objetivo se faz com o estudo de caso de uma edificação mista, localizada na cidade de São José/SC.
