The concern with the quality of life is growing within the national framework, as well as an incorporation of the concepts of health and safety of work by companies and governments. Due to economic development coupled with population growth, social problems are consequently intensified, accidents and occupational diseases, for example, have been demonstrated by remoteness and retirement. In this context, a point of view on the risks and, especially, on occupational noise has become a critical point, since it is possible to prevent and avoid the negative effects of this agent. As a solution to this problem, it has an exposure assessment for occupational noise as a tool to identify and mitigate the risk, avoiding that the worker has his health compromised. However, an evaluation methodology has limitations that involve a complete analysis of the scenario. In this context, it was searched, through bibliographical research, to collect data referring to occupational noise, covering as its properties, elements, factors and applicable legislation. Critical of the evaluation methodology limitations, the technologies and processes available, as well as their limitations and disadvantages were analyzed. It was also verified the viability of the implementation of the process for the insertion of a new resource, which consists of the visual recording during the noise measurement. As a way of exemplifying a method operation and analyzing its efficiency, an operational test was performed using the audiovisual set in a noise exposure assessment of a São José company. Based on results of performance evaluation and feasibility of the method, as well as identify as particularities and difficulties of its implementation, which can be an evaluation of occupational noise performance of an incredible and complete tool, which contains varied and consistent data, with direct impact on labor justice and especially on quality of workers' lives.
