The research in place analyses the international politics between Brazil and Germany during the time period of 1933 to 1942; this period can be considered of big importance to the diplomatic and commercial relations between both countries. This research seeks to understand the first steps of this international political relationship as well as the reestablishment of political relations between both brazilian and german governments after their first disruption, which occurred in 1917, and the second one in 1942. The methodology used was basic, qualitative and explanative research, as well as bibliographic and documental analysis. The research in question also approaches the dispute of two emerging powers in the international scenery, those being the United States and Germany, regarding their influence towards the american continent, focusing on Brazil. As a final outcome, we can conclude that, during the analysed time range, a disruption of Brazilian-German alliance took place, leading the brazilian government to seek alliance with the United States, contributing to the United States' hegemony over the american continent.
