Expatriação na engenharia: uma revisão de literatura

This work aimed to analyze the scientific articles published in the UNISUL database. For the theoretical contribution the theories of expatriation, globalization and the production engineer were addressed. Methodologically this research fits as a descriptive research under a qualitative and quantitative approach. Since this was the method of bibliographic research, the data collection procedure was performed through the bibliometric technique, through the integrated research UNISUL, with the theme related to expatration, expat and expatriate, until 20 years ago. Then, these articles were filtered according to their relation to the theme, by date delimitation and by repetition of articles, resulting in a set of 11 articles. Later, as a data analysis procedure, an integrative review of the literature was carried out, which consisted in classifying articles focusing on expatriates. In the article studies, it verified 4 (four) types of classification, behavioral (personal and professional), types of expatriation, obstacles faced, repatriation. In summary, this theme showed the reasons to be treated in order to carry out this experience, the obstacles faced by expatriates and how they are treated when they return to their original company.
