The purpose of this study is to justify and elaborate the architectural party of an Interactive Space for the Visually Impaired in the historical center of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. In Florianópolis, the visually impaired have only one association focused on their needs, which is located in a non-central and difficult access area. The project of the Interactive Space for the Visually Impaired comes as a proposal to complement CIAB (Catarinense Integration Association of the Blind), being an environment of deeper sensory knowledge, where people with disabilities can feel comfortable and at the same time discover different aspects through the stimulation of their senses. For this proposal to occur, it was necessary to develop bibliographical researches, searches for project references, interviews with visually impaired people and a visit to an entity directed to this public, in order to know its program of needs and the work done to the population.The result was the design of the architectural party of a multi-sensory space for people with visual impairment, but open to the entire population, with the purpose of promoting teachings about the possibilities of the body to work in different spaces.
