Resumo: The number of accidents in construction is twice the average, in most cases taking the employee to death, this factor demonstrates that it is necessary to carry out activities in the field of work safety, but it is an area that is impoverished when it is dealt with in this scope, it is therefore the scope of this work to demonstrate methodological procedures that can be applied to the prevention of accidents in the civil construction industry performing activities at height, being one of the types of activities that can cause fatalities, of the current national regulations will address the precepts and procedures that can be applied, recurrent methods that must be performed to practice this type of work and the foci in the field of construction that can determine accidents or fatalities, lack of equipment, prevention, etc. ., so it is within reach of this work to assist work safety and anyone involved in this research to prevent this type of accident.
