Perfil epidemiológico audiológico dos trabalhadores das indústrias no período de 2009 a 2013: estudo de caso

Resumo: The occupational diseases are caused by risk factors related to the working environment that cause changes in the worker’s life. The present study had the aim to identify the epidemiological profile of cases of diseases related to the ear among workers in the Brazilian industry, notified in the period from 2009 to 2013. The methodology used in this work consisted in a bibliographic review, carried out to give background to the subject of the study, collecting information to the database from website statistical data of Social Welfare, in which it was obtained the registers of labor accidents are caused by occupational diseases related to the human ear in the brazilian industry in the period under review. In virtue of the obtained information it was found out 9.739 (nine thousand seven hundred thirty-nine) cases of diseases related to the ear, being the inner ear the worst hit. It was found out that the Southeast region is the most affected by the diseases of the ear, followed by the North Region and the state most affected is the state of Minas Gerais, representing 33% of the cases registered in Brazil. The present study highlights the importance of investing in tools and measures to reduce or eliminate the risks of environments labor in order to prevent occupational diseases, such as diseases related to the ear, favoring the well-being and the integrity of the worker.

O presente estudo teve por finalidade identificar o perfil epidemiológico dos casos de doenças relacionadas ao ouvido entre trabalhadores da indústria brasileira, notificados no período de 2009 a 2013. A metodologia adotada no trabalho consistiu na revisão bibliográfica, realizada para dar embasamento ao tema em estudo, levantamento de dados junto ao banco de dados estatísticos do site da Previdência Social, no qual foram obtidos os registros de acidentes de trabalho causados por doenças ocupacionais relacionadas ao ouvido humano da indústria brasileira no período analisado. Em virtude dos dados obtidos constatou-se 9.739 (nove mil setecentos e trinta e nove) casos de doenças relacionadas ao ouvido, sendo o ouvido interno o mais atingido, verificou-se também que a região Sudeste é a mais atingida pelas doenças de ouvido, seguida pela Região Norte e o estado mais afetado é o estado de Minas Gerais representando 33% dos casos registrados no Brasil.
