Resumo: | The main objective of this study is to analyze the normatization of the intermittent work in Brazil in relation to Law 13467/17, verifying the advantages and disadvantages for employer and employer when establishing an intermittent work contract, as well as to identify possible lacunae existing in the legislation. The qualitative method was used to investigate the approach, the bibliographic and documentary procedure, and the depth of the exploratory nature. The results of the study were obtained from the analysis of the new provisions introduced in the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT) after the reform. In this sense, the main focus was the study about the requirements and characteristics inherent in this new modality of employment contract, as well as its advantages and disadvantages under the prism of the current Brazilian worker. With the research, we verified the negative and positive aspects of the intermittent contract, as well as we tried to use the comparison with the classic contracts. Thus, if, on the one hand, this new modality of contract aims at the withdrawal of the Brazilian worker from the situation of unemployment and informality, by another report, it is unpredictable insofar as, given its main characteristics, it does not provide protection to the worker and legal security, in order to observe greater favoritism to the employer to the detriment of the employee. |

Utilizou-se para investigação o método qualitativo quanto à abordagem, o procedimento bibliográfico e documental, e quanto ao nível de profundidade, a natureza exploratória. Os resultados do estudo foram obtidos a partir da análise das novas disposições introduzidas na Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho (CLT) a partir da reforma. Nesse sentido, buscou-se como enfoque principal, o estudo acerca dos requisitos e características inerentes àquela nova modalidade de contrato de trabalho, bem como suas vantagens e desvantagens sob o prisma do trabalhador brasileiro atual. Com a pesquisa, constatou-se os aspectos negativos e positivos do contrato intermitente, bem como buscou-se utilizar da comparação com os contratos clássicos.
