The present work had as its theme the study of the training in flight simulator device, directed to the Human Factors. Therefore, the general objective of the research was to present the main characteristics of LOFT - Line Oriented Flight Training and its importance as a tool to prevent the occurrence of aeronautical accidents and incidents. It also aims to identify the important points in the elaboration of this training for the construction of a safety culture, besides exposing the experience of several organs in the implementation of the LOFT, recognizing its contribution in the formation of the airline pilot. It is characterized as an exploratory research with a bibliographic procedure in the data collection through the theoretical survey of researchers performed by other authors. The approach used was qualitative because the analysis of the data allows to identify that all operators that carry out this training efficiently attest their effectiveness in increasing flight safety. At the end of the research, we conclude that with the correct elaboration and use of LOFT training we have as a result well-trained aviators for a more efficient management of cabin resources, as well as preparing them to handle the error more assertively by mitigating their risks and consequences.
