This study is a completion of course work and has covered the analysis of the BRIC over the last decade and prospects for 2050 and aimed at identifying the economic prospects of the BRIC to 2050. The specific objectives are to present the conceptual aspects and fundamentals of economics and international economics, to analyze and highlight notions of integration and forms of economic integration, highlight the main features of the economic groups G7 or G8, G20, G77 and G3; present a study of socioeconomic control over each of the countries that form the BRIC, evaluate the economic variables of the BRIC and future prospects, and suggest further studies on the subject. This study is characterized as a literature search, qualitative, exploratory and deductive method. With respect to data collection, information in this report was conducted in books, files and Internet, because it features a literature search. The review covers some concepts of economics and international economy and issues such as neoliberalism, economic policies, exchange rate among others, some notions of economic blocs like the MERCOUL, NAFTA, EU and APEC. The presentation and analysis refers to economic groups, the G7 and G8, the G20 and G77 and G3. It also shows the characteristics of Brazil, Russia, India and China. Finally, we present the conclusion of the study and recommendations for future work.
