This research work had the main goal of analyzing the level of influence of the space research in the great technological advance lived by the aviation in the last decades. This research had an exploratory nature, with the use of bibliographic and documentary procedures like books, articles, magazines, websites, regulations, norms and documents, almost all available in digital form, also with a qualitative approach. For a better comprehension and knowledge of the subject, the research was divided in three segments, the first one presenting the introduction of the proposed theme, the research problem, its general and specific objectives, as well as the justification, the methodology used and the work organization. The next one presents the whole theoretical reference relating the advances of space research and its aviation reflexes, as well as the benefits and advantages that come with it. The third segment of this research work, presents the discussion and analysis of the results obtained. Analyzing the researched data, it´s possible to conclude easily, that the main technologies responsible for the advancement of aviation in recent years, and the current ICAO CNS-ATM concept, are mostly anchored in technologies derived from space conquest such as navigation, communication and meteorological satellites. These technologies bring a lot of benefits to aviation, enabling an orderly and efficient growth of air traffic in the world.
