This monograph presents a study on the exposure to noise of a Rock band drummer. Firstly, a bibliographical study is carried out aiming at the collection of studies already carried out on this topic and the main consequences of frequent exposure to noise in hearing health. After that, measurements of exposure to the drummer's noise are made during a rehearsal and a show with the Rock band. By comparing the experimental results obtained with the tolerance limits presented in NR-15 and NHO-01, it is noticed that the level of exposure to the musician's noise during the show is high and is above the limits allowed by the current norms. If this exposure is frequent, the musician is subject to damages in the auditory health, therefore, control measures are suggested, aiming at reducing the exposure to noise.
