Considering the fight for women’s right and the disregard for the female sex that is rooted in our society, the following project aims to raise awareness, through a didactic animation with up to 2 minutes and 30 seconds of length, among teenagers between 10 and 14 years old about femicide, a public health and security issue that has been taking on worrying proportions in Brazil. Seeking to promote prevention towards this issue, for this project a new methodology was adapted based on motion graphics and information design methodologies. We also researched about the fields of those methodologies as well as about animation, cognitive load, the situation of femicide in Brazil and human rights, to obtain an educational content and develop a relevant animation for the target audience.
