Resumo: ABSTRACT The increase in unbridled use of polymers in Brazil, triggered a large volume of waste deposited in dumps across the country, creating a problem for society. This paper deals with the study of polymer waste recycling techniques applied in road paving in some countries, besides performing a brief experiment of proposed methodology for such constructions. Thus aiming to find a solution to two problems of the current scenario in Brazil, namely, excess accumulated polymeric waste and the lack of paved roads. Its execution was made by bibliographic study of alternatives with less environmental impact for the construction of existing roads that have been successful in their application and should be disseminated over the next years. Aiming at reducing the volume of polymeric waste disposed in landfills, dumps and other destination where such materials are deposited, as well as reducing the use of natural resources for paving in Brazil. With the knowledge acquired throughout the research was also experimentally implemented a methodology to use the household and industrial polymeric waste found in the region, for paving the local roads. Concluding that it is possible to recycle such waste for local paving and other roads of the country. Keywords: Recycling. Waste. Polymers. Paving.

Paving.O aumento do uso desenfreado de polímeros no Brasil, desencadeou um grande volume de resíduos depositados em lixões pelo país, gerando um problema para a sociedade. Este trabalho trata do estudado de técnicas de reciclagem de resíduos de polímeros aplicada na pavimentação de estradas em alguns países, além de realizar um breve experimento de metodologia proposta para tais construções. Objetivando desta forma buscar solução para dois problemas do cenário atual do Brasil, sendo eles, excesso de resíduos poliméricos acumulados e a falta de estradas pavimentadas. Sua execução se deu por estudo bibliográfico de alternativas com menor impacto ambiental para construção de estradas já existentes que obtiveram sucesso em sua aplicação e devem ser difundidas ao longo dos próximos anos. Visando a diminuição do volume de resíduos poliméricos dispostos em aterros sanitários, lixões e demais locais de destino que tais materiais são depositados, além da diminuição do uso de recursos naturais para a pavimentação no Brasil. Com o conhecimento adquirido ao longo das pesquisas também executou-se experimentalmente uma metodologia para utilizar os resíduos poliméricos domiciliares e industriais encontrados na região, para a pavimentação das vias locais. Concluindo que é possível reciclar tais resíduos para a pavimentação local e demais estradas do país. Palavras-chave: Reciclagem. Resíduos. Polímeros.
