Resumo: The objective of this study was to verify the students' perception of the attributes of a good tutor and the use of technological resources in the classroom in a Higher Education Institution, in the distance education modality. Data were collected through the application of questionnaires for EAD students, totaling a sample of 175 students. The study is characterized as quantitative. Results analysis was performed using the descriptive statistical technique and exploratory factorial analysis. The main attributes for a good tutor teacher in the perception of EAD students were posture, relationship and didactics, on the other hand, professional ability and motivation were the attributes with less relevance. The technological resources most used in the classroom and highlighted by the students were the Multimedia Projector and the Power Point, while the Tablet and Socrative resulted in less use. These findings indicate that, although it is possible to increase the use of these resources for teaching and learning in a productive way, tutors still use traditional technological resources. The results also contribute to the expansion of the literature on the tutor in the EAD, proving its role as mediator.

The results also contribute to the expansion of the literature on the tutor in the EAD, proving its role as mediator. El objetivo de este estudio fue verificar la percepción de los estudiantes acerca de los atributos de un buen profesor tutor y el uso de los recursos tecnológicos en el aula en una Institución de Enseñanza Superior en la modalidad de educación a distancia. Los datos fueron recolectados mediante la aplicación de cuestionarios para estudiantes EAD, totalizando una muestra de 175 estudiantes. El estudio se caracteriza como cuantitativo. El análisis de resultados ocurrió por medio de la técnica estadística descriptiva y análisis factorial exploratorio. Los principales atributos para un buen profesor tutor en la percepción de los estudiantes EAD fueron la postura, la relación y la didáctica, por otro lado, la capacidad profesional y la motivación fueron los atributos con menor relevancia. Los recursos tecnológicos más utilizados en el aula y destacados por los estudiantes fueron el Proyector Multimedia y el Power Point, mientras que el Tablet y el Socrative resultaron en menor uso. Estos hallazgos indican que, aunque es posible ampliar el uso de estos recursos para el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de forma productiva, los profesores tutores todavía utilizan recursos tecnológicos tradicionales. Los resultados contribuyen a ampliar la literatura sobre el profesor tutor en la EAD, comprobando su papel de mediador.O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar a percepção dos alunos a respeito dos atributos de um bom professor tutor e o uso dos recursos tecnológicos na sala de aula em uma Instituição de Ensino Superior, na modalidade de educação a distância. Os dados foram coletados mediante aplicação de questionários para alunos EAD, totalizando uma amostra de 175 alunos. O estudo caracteriza-se como quantitativo. A análise de resultados ocorreu por meio da técnica estatística descritiva e análise fatorial exploratório. Os principais atributos para um bom professor tutor na percepção dos alunos EAD foram a postura, o relacionamento e a didática, por outro lado, a capacidade profissional e a motivação foram os atributos com menor relevância. Os recursos tecnólogos mais utilizados em sala de aula e destacados pelos alunos foram o Projetor Multimídia e o Power Point, enquanto o Tablet e o Socrative resultaram em menor uso. Estes achados indicam que, embora seja possível ampliar o uso destes recursos para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem de forma produtiva, os professores tutores ainda utilizam recursos tecnológicos tradicionais.
