Resumo: This article is a result of a research that involves a team of basketball players in wheelchairs from APD – Portuguese Association of People With Disability – Delegation of the District of Braga, Portugal. The optimal design of the clothing for these wheelchair players was studied. This paper presents the importance of the use of anthropometry and ergonomics in the design and pattern design of clothing for people with special motor needs.
