Resumo: This case has an application of the Systematic Layout Planning, known as SLP, in a company that manufactures household products. Its main principle is to analyze the current layout for the productive plant and present a new layout suggestion. Given the work characteristics, it is possible to classify as a study case with a qualitative and descriptive approach. Using the SLP method, the new layout settings have been created, so it was expected that the new set of facilities was feasible. However, after analyzing the results in qualitative terms, the current arrangement has shown to be the most appropriate alternative. Several studies were carried out in the industrial plant in sync with theoretical basement, which has led to a better knowledge about the theme.

Seu objetivo principal é analisar o arranjo físico atual da planta produtiva e apresentar uma nova proposta de layout. Diante das características do trabalho é possível classificá-lo como um estudo de caso de abordagem qualitativa e objetivo descritivo. Com a utilização do método SLP, novas propostas de layout foram criadas, dessa forma, esperava-se que um novo arranjo físico das instalações fosse viável. Porém, ao analisar os resultados em termos qualitativos, o arranjo físico atual mostrou-se a alternativa mais apropriada.
