The dental environment exposes dental surgeons to various occupational hazards. Therefore, it is important that these risks are identified, approved and elaborated through the elaboration and fulfillment of the Risk Management Program (RMP) by Regulatory Standard nº 1 (NR 1) of the Ministry of Labor and Welfare, which came into force in 2022. The objective of this work was to propose an RMP to manage and prevent clinical risks in performing the restoration procedure. An inventory of occupational hazards was prepared, based on a checklist of identification, analysis and assessment of risks in the clinic environments using an Inmetro matrix technique (2019), which was applied by three different evaluators. Afterwards, na action plan was suggested, using the 5W1H methodology, for each moderate or critical risk. Prevention and control measures were proposed to be introduced, improved, or maintained. The risk assessment process demonstrated the need for greater information and awareness of the occupational risks of those who work in the work environment. This work allowed the regularization of the clinic in relation to the new wording of NR 1, in addition to protecting workers through preventive management of occupational risks.
