Resumo: This paper investigates magnetohydrodynamic axisymmetric flow of a third-grade fluid between two porous disks. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations by similarity transformations. The resulting non-linear problem is solved by a homotopy analysis method (HAM). The effects of dimensionless parameters on the radial and axial components of the velocity are illustrated through plots. The skin-friction coefficients at the upper and lower disks are tabulated for various values of the dimensionless physical parameters.
