Objective: the aim of this study was to establish the profile of dentists with respect to some characteristics in the use of systems and kinematics of instrumentation most used in Brazil for endodontic treatment. Material and Methods: an invitation to participate in the survey was sent digitally to 1,300 dentists from January-April 2016, distributed in the five regions of Brazil, using a service available at surveymonkey.com (Survey Monkey, Palo Alto, CA, USA). They were validated 1,143 with the option of free and informed consent. The data collected were divided into two groups, the first group being only general practioners group (CG Group) and the second group, dentists that did postgraduation in Endodontics (PE Group).
