Resumo: This article aims at presenting the results of a research project that seeks to map theories and authors that ground the field of communication studies in Brazil. More specifically, the article focuses on the area of Political Communication, investigating the papers presented at the working group devoted to the area in Compos during a 10 year period (2006-2015). Based on the 99 papers that constitute the empirical corpus, we have identified: relevant authors; the theories and concepts grounding the debates; and how these authors and approaches are mobilized by different scholars in the working group.

De forma específica, o artigo enfoca o mapeamento realizado acerca da área Comunicação e Política, tendo em vista os textos apresentados no grupo de trabalho homônimo do evento anual da Compós, em um período de dez anos (2006-2015).
